Rupert is pleased to invite all to the events closing the group exhibition, Entangled Tales.

Thursday, 2 August

6pm – Performance by Julie Béna and Finissage Party. Free and open to all.  Followed by an after-party with drinks and snacks.

While an artist-in-residence at Rupert in 2016, Julie Béna wrote Rupert’s Tales, subsequently compiled into the book,  ‘It needed to be tender and to be whipped’, published by Montez Press (2017).  As part of the closing event for the end of the exhibition, Entangled Tales, Béna will return to Rupert to deliver a performance of these and unpublished texts, uniquely reconfigured for the context of the exhibition.
