Opening of the group exhibition,
Entangled Tales
From 6pm on the 4th of July, RUPERT kindly invites you to the opening of the summer group exhibition, Entangled Tales. Palanga Street Radio will be DJing on the opening night.
Entangled Tales brings together local and international artists to look at the ways in which we think, communicate and live with matter. The exhibition’s theme takes the lead from the artists’ practices and recent feminist approaches to materiality and ‘new materialism’. It considers how our correspondences with the matter with which we are entangled offers many threads to follow in our exploration of memory, the body, forms of participation and ways of knowing. Acknowledging the work of art as something which we continue to think with and through, the exhibition asks how we tell the entangled tales of which we are one thread.
