Dalia Maini (b. 1992) is a slow thinker, independent curator and practice-based writer. Her research moves in the threshold of cultural and survival production. After a BA in Cultural studies (Naples) and an MA in Visual Cultures and Curatorial Practices (Milan) she moved to Berlin, where she lives and works. Her MA thesis titled “You can imagine the opposite: exercises for the futures in the Arts” has been published in the anthology Visual Studies (Mimesis, 2019) which she also co-curated. She is a contributor for the magazine Arts of the Working Class and her texts sits on many independent platforms. Her curatorial activities come from an attitude of the heart and not follow any institutional trend. Indeed she studies and embodies togetherness as a process of belonging in-becoming, directing her interest in an agenda for speculative criticality and ecology of existential interdependence. She is proud founder of the collaborative newsletter the bliss of the spam where she can rehearse her anger toward patriarchal authorities. Among the slogans she would sing during a protest her favorite is: Organizations are obstacles to organizing ourselves. (Invisible Committee)
