Rupert joined the ULYSSES Platform in 2025. This project brings together 13 European member institutions involved in the support and promotion of young artists, with a new member joining each project year. All of the institutions play a fundamental role in recognizing, accompanying, professionalizing, and developing the careers of young performers, some with over 20 years experience. IRCAM is the coordinator of the network.
Rupert’s focus for ULYSSES is on cross-sector innovation incorporating sonic archives, activism, and performance. Over the next three years, a cohort of interdisciplinary artists from throughout the world, selected by the Rupert curatorial team, will work with our institution in two movements.
The first movement invites artists for project development residencies and the presentation of their practices in Vilnius in the frame of the ULYSSES Platform’s In-Situ programme. A second movement invites these artists to create new work for exhibition at Rupert and with our Platform partners abroad, via the ULYSSES Platform’s Co-Commissions programme.
The ULYSSES Platform is co-funded by the European Union.
