Viktorija Rybakova

Viktorija Rybakova is a research-based artist, graphic and spatial designer. Her practice combines academic and artistic fields, with a main focus on artists’ books and embodied knowledge practices. Currently, she works at the Vilnius University Library as a graphic art collection curator and researcher, while also studying in the Master’s program in the Graphic Arts Department at the Vilnius Academy of Arts. Her work has been exhibited at Fundação Iberê Camargo (Porto Alegre), Kunstverein München, Videobrasil (2015 and 2017, São Paulo), the Baltic Pavilion at the 15th Venice Architecture Biennale, KW Institute for Contemporary Art (Berlin), Witte de With Center for Contemporary Art (Rotterdam), Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art (Warsaw), the Contemporary Art Centre (Vilnius), and Tallinn Art Hall.

During the residency Viktorija will work on her final Master’s degree research project and exhibition, Talking Hands.
