Apply through the Goethe-Institut’s Creative Compass Programme for a fully funded international study visit and gain new professional experience through one of the programme’s host organisations, including Rupert in Vilnius.

The International Study Visit Programme is part of the Creative Compass Georgia project, funded by the European Union and co-funded and implemented by the Goethe-Institut. The programme supports cultural and creative professionals from Georgia’s regions outside Tbilisi. Its goal is to strengthen regional cultural sectors by offering access to new knowledge, international networks, and opportunities for collaboration.

Selected participants will attend fully funded study visits hosted by experienced organisations in EU Member States or IPA countries (including Rupert in Vilnius). These visits will take place between autumn 2026 and June 2027 and may last from one week to two months, depending on the programme.

Eligible applicants must be Georgian citizens aged 18 or older who live and/or work outside Tbilisi. The programme is open to a wide range of professionals, including artists, cultural managers, creative entrepreneurs, educators, community practitioners, and others working in related fields. Previously selected participants aren’t eligible for this call, but applicants who weren’t selected for the programme from earlier rounds may reapply.

Applicants can choose up to two preferred study directions, covering eight areas, including artistic residencies, creative technologies, media art, film festival programming, fashion and visual arts, studio practice, cross-sector collaboration, and contemporary art focused on memory and social change. Final placement depends on availability and the matchmaking process with host organisations.

The selection process consists of eligibility screening and qualitative assessment, followed by interviews or online meetings for shortlisted candidates. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and early submission is strongly encouraged due to limited spots.
