Matthew Rana

Matthew Rana is an artist and writer. He is the author of two poetry collections, The Theory of the Square (Torpedo Press, 2014) and Holiday Poems (Varv Varv 2015), and his writing on contemporary art has appeared in Art Agenda, Kunstkritikk and Frieze. He lives in Malmö, Sweden.

Banquet (A Play) is a long poem made in dialogue with Moliére’s comedy Dom Juan or The Feast with the Statue. A series of three sculptures, The Slaves, was also produced in parallel.
