OPEN CALL for new RUPERT visual identity

Rupert is entering a new era, and looking for a new voice.

The Rupert Centre for Art, Residencies, and Education in Vilnius, Lithuania, invites expressions of interest from graphic designers (including small teams) with branding and visual communication experience for creative and cultural organizations.

Since its founding 13 years ago, Rupert has grown and become one of the most significant arts organisations in the Baltic region. We now seek to evolve our visual identity as well, coinciding with a substantial shift in our programme and context over the coming year. Rupert is eager to consider fresh ideas for this exciting new direction, to be launched this summer.

The designer(s) will be responsible for creating, building, and implementing our refreshed visual identity, working closely with the Rupert team. They must have experience with identity development and implementation in print and digital formats.

Please note: this is a project-based service agreement, not employment.

Are you interested and qualified? To apply, please send these documents as one PDF to info@rupert.lt with the subject line ‘Rupert Graphic Designer’:

— CV
— Portfolio with up to three example projects (prioritise brand identities that you created or guided, ideally for cultural organisations)
— What visual direction do you imagine for Rupert in the coming years? (maximum 200 words)

Selected applicants will be invited for a second round, involving interviews with our staff and work proposals.

Your responsibilities:

— Develop a new visual identity for Rupert.
— Design promotional materials for Rupert’s events and exhibitions.
— Create visual content for social media, website, and press, ensuring cohesive branding and messaging.

If you have any questions about this role, please contact info@rupert.lt.

The deadline for applications is 5 May 2025, 23:59 (EEST).

Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held online.
