Reading Session
Reading Room Sessions: “The Xenofeminist Manifesto”
Dear all, please join us for a Rupert Reading Group session at Šaltinių st. 7 this coming Sunday April 24th at 4:00pm. We will discuss the Xenofeminist manifesto by the Laboria Cuboniks collective. We are happy that Katrina Burch, co-author of the Xenofeminist Manifesto and a member of Laboria Cuboniks will be present at the reading session.
Laboria Cuboniks is a xenofeminist collective, spread across five countries and three continents. She seeks to dismantle gender, and do away with nature as a guarantor for inegalitarian politics. Her name is an anagram of ‘Nicolas Bourbaki’, a pseudonym for a group of largely French mathematicians who worked towards the affirmation of abstraction, generality/universality and rigour in mathematics in the early twentieth century.
Katrina Burch is a feminist artist and thinker, archaeologist and computer musician/composer based between France & the Netherlands.
You can read or download the Xenofeminist Manifesto here: http://www.laboriacuboniks.net.
Reading selected by Katrina Burch and Adomas Narkevičius.
Special thanks to Jasmine Picot-Chapman for inviting the reading room session to her studio space again (on Šaltinių st. 7).
You do not need to register for participation but if you have an inquiry regarding the reading room session, write us: info@rupert.lt
