Alternative Education program participants at Kintai Arts
Rupert 6th alternative education program participants Monika Janulevičiūtė & Antanas Lučiūnas, Milda Januševičiūtė, Ona Juciūtė, Marjolein van der Loo, Vytautas Stakutis, Rytis Urbanskas, Naglis Kristijonas Zakaras alongside program curator Adomas Narkevičius and assistant curator Giulia Civardi will be at Kintai Arts residency between July 23-26.
Four day activities will include workshops and discussions concerning 6th Alternative Education program participants preparation towards final showcase exhibition to take place between September 13-15 at Rupert. Among the activities, group and individual discussions of the conceptual, thematic axis of their projects, development of partnerships with potential production partners and patrons. Other educational as a group include readings and discussion on new materialism and specifically the texts of Dr Rick Dolphijn. The trip will be concluded by a discussion on methodologies of art education in Lithuania with the participants, local community, Kintai Arts residents and the curators.
