Closing events of the summer group exhibition, Entangled Tales.

Rupert is pleased to announce the final events for the closing of the summer group exhibition, Entangled Tales.

Thursday, 2 August

5pm – Free guided tour by the exhibition curators, Juste Jonutyte and Yates Norton. Registration (weekdays only) at info@rupert.lt,  +370 682 54 930.

6pm – Performance by Julie Béna and Finissage Party. Free and open to all, it will be followed by an after-party with drinks and snacks.

While an artist-in-residence at Rupert in 2016, Julie Béna wrote Rupert’s Tales, subsequently compiled into the book,  ‘It needed to be tender and to be whipped’, published by Montez Press (2017).  As part of the closing event for the end of the exhibition, Entangled Tales, Béna will return to Rupert to deliver a performance of these and unpublished texts, uniquely reconfigured for the context of the exhibition.

On 2 August, there will be a free shuttle bus operating between Vilnius center and Rupert. The bus departs from the main entrance to Bernardinai garden (Maironio street) at 5:30 pm, and returns after the talk around 8 pm. Registration for the bus.
