Enterprise Projects
Enterprise Projects is a project space in Athens, Greece run by Vasilis Papageorgiou and Danai Giannoglou. It functions independently and periodically since September 2015 and is experimenting with the curatorial proposal, the artistic creation, the self-organized function and the interaction with the place itself which houses the project.
Vasilis Papageorgiou (b.1991) is an artist and co-founder of Enterprise Projects, living in Athens, and currently working on the ideas of subculture, materiality, fragility, and every-day life. His last solo exhibition took place in April 2016 at Elika gallery, Athens and he has also been part of various projects and exhibitions in Greece and abroad.
Danai Giannoglou (b.1992) is a curator and co-founder of Enterprise Projects, living between Athens and Paris, currently working at the DESTE Foundation, Athens. She is completing an MA in Arts Management and Curating at Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, and she is interested in the issues of territoriality, belonging, and also in the idea of archive-making.
During the residency in Rupert, Danai has attempted to create a method that will allow her to communicate a personal experience of a territory as a common place. Vasilis aimed to trace the specific elements that form the culture and subculture of Vilnius in order to create negated narrations.
