Installation Documentation: Barbora Šulniūtė, Yesterday the Sun Was Watching Us
Yesterday the Sun Was Watching Us, an installation by set designer and emerging sculptor Barbora Šulniūtė, was on view in Rupert’s window from 24 September to 18 October 2026.
The installation was inspired by observing changes in space-time and light: transitions from day to night, from summer to autumn, from short sleeves to leather coats. The installation was part of the Lineage | Giminystė programme, which explores how ways of thinking and creative practices are passed from one generation to another, and how this transmission takes place through artistic practices.
