Juliana Lindenhofer

Juliana Lindenhofer is an artist based in Vienna. She draws constant inspiration from nightlife, fashion and the act of dressing up – moments of transformation that allow one to slip briefly into different roles, if only for a night. This interest has led her to experiment with medical products, cosmetic waxes, and other materials associated with the body.

Her recent exhibitions include those at Draakon Gallery, Tallinn (2025); Mediterranea 20– Young Artists Biennale, Nova Gorica/Goricia (2025); Belvedere 21, Vienna (2023); Kunsthalle Wien, Vienna (2023); Zina Gallery, Cluj (2023). In 2023 Juliana was an artist in residence at WIELS, Brussels.

At Rupert, Juliana will be experimenting with magnetic resonance imaging of her own body, as well as with medical devices such as urine test strips and hormonal spirals. She is interested in ‘physical geometries’ – how bodies are shaped and reshaped through fashion and medical interventions.
